How to order 48 leather patch hats in 5 steps
Forty-eight is the most common first order. It hits the third price tier ($20.50 each on a Richardson 112, $984.00 total) and splits cleanly two or three ways by color. Here is the whole process.
1. Pick the hat and the colors
Start with the Richardson 112 unless you have a reason not to. It has the most colors and the stiffest front. Rope caps (256, 258) and low-pros (115) are the next most common. Decide the color split: 24/24 or 16/16/16 are typical. Sizes are not needed for hats; note how many XL if you want them.
2. Send artwork, quantity and style
Use the quote form. Attach a vector logo (AI, EPS, PDF, SVG) or a 300 dpi PNG. Put the style, colors, quantity, glued or sewn, and any in-hand date in the details box. Quotes usually go out the same business day.

3. Approve the proof
After you accept the quote, we send a digital proof: patch outline and size on the hat, leather tone, engraved areas, and stitch color if sewn. Look at the text size and the patch position. Ask for changes; proofs are free. When you approve, the 28-day standard turnaround starts.
4. Production
We pull blanks from SanMar's Reno warehouse (or the next closest if Reno is out), engrave and cut the patches on our 80-watt CO2 laser, and bond each one on the hat press. Sewn patches then go to the embroidery machines for the edge stitch. Every hat is checked against the proof.
5. Ship
Hats ship from Yerington, Nevada, to anywhere in the US. Shipping is quoted by weight and destination; 48 hats usually go in one or two cartons. You get tracking by email.
